AmaZulu FC have announced the signing of attacking duo Thapelo Matlhoko and Athini Maqokolo as they continue to beef up their squad before the local transfer window slams shut.
Matlhoko is a 23-year-old striker who turned out for Kruger United in the Motsepe Foundation Championship last season while Maqokolo is a 21-year-old right winger previously on the books of Ravens FC.
Usuthu confirmed of the duo’s signing in a statement on Tuesday afternoon.
“AmaZulu Football Club is delighted to announce the conclusion of deals for the services of striker Thapelo Matlhoko (23) and right-winger Athini Maqokolo (21).
“The signings, which had been in negotiation for some time, have finally been wrapped up—clearing the two exciting youngsters to don Usuthu’s green and white colours in the Betway Premiership.”
