Golden Arrows have parted ways with head coach Lehlohonolo Seema after their 6-0 thrashing by Mamelodi Sundowns.
Seema had taken over from Mandla Ncikazi at the beginning of the season and led Arrows into a stable ninth-place position on the log, with 31 points from 24 games.
They’ve won three of their last six games, however received a record thrashing by Masandawana on Tuesday.
The 6-0 defeat at Loftus Versfeld Stadium was seemingly enough for Arrows’ leadership to cut ties with their head coach.
Arrows have confirmed his departure on social media stating, “Lamontville Golden Arrows and Lehlohonolo Seema have amicably parted ways with immediate effect. Vusumuzi Vilakazi and Mabuthi Khenyeza will serve as interim coaches until the end of the season.”
