Baroka Football Club have demoted coach Kgoloko Thobejane after their 3-2 defeat to Swallows FC.
Baroka president Khurishi Mphahlele confirmed to iDiski Times journalist Lethabo Kganyago that Thobejane has been demoted to the MDC team.
The news come after Bakgakga threw away a 2-0 lead and lost 3-2 to Swallows, who moved five points ahead of them in the relegation fight.
“We demoted him to MDC,” Mphahlele told iDiski Times.
“Coach Vincent Kobola is in charge of the team and will be assisted by Stanley Nkwana.”
Thobejane, who was with Baroka in 2017/18 season ,made he’s return to the club after poor run of under coach Matsemela Thoka in November.
However, the South African-born coach has only managed to win four games in all competitions since he got appointed, losing 11 matches including being knocked out of Nedbank Cup in the quarter-finals.
Later on Monday, the news were officially confirmed by Baroka.

Bakgakga are now sitting at the bottom of DStv Premiership with 18 points after 26 games with only four games remaining this season.
The Limpopo-based side are set to face Lamontville Golden Arrows at home and then they will travel to Gqeberha to face relegation candidates Chippa United before hosting SuperSport United at Peter Mokaba and finish the season at Harry Gwala when they face Maritzburg United.
