Former Marumo Gallants and Orlando Pirates winger Mahlatsi Makudubela has joined Tanzania Premier League giants Young Africans SC.
Makudubela, 33, joins the club on a free transfer after leaving Gallants following their relegation from the DStv Premiership.
His move to East Africa marks the first player from South Africa to ply their trade in the NBC Premier League with the club who have won back-to-back domestic trebles.
They confirmed his arrival via social media on Tuesday evening, and the winger looks set to make his debut in their Wananchi Day celebrations this week against Kaizer Chiefs.
Makudubela scored two goals and registered one assist in 22 games, but clearly left an impression on the club as they were ironically knocked out of the CAF Confederation Cup semi-finals by Yanga, as he featured in the home and away legs in the 4-1 aggregate defeat.
