Liverpool have announced the signing of Swedish international Alexander Isak from Newcastle United in a reported deal worth £125million on transfer deadline day.
The 25-year-old has penned a six-year contract eclipsing his new teammate Florian Wirtz who saw the Reds fork out a combined £116m from Bayer Leverkusen for his services.

On Monday evening, Liverpool confirmed the capture of Isak who will add more firepower to Arne Slot’s already deadly attack.
Since being snapped up from Real Sociedad for £63m in 2022, he has scored 62 times for the Magpies in 109 games including 27 goals in 42 appearances last season.
