On loan at Petro de Luanda from Orlando Pirates, Gilberto has won the Angolan Super Cup after they beat Kaizer Chiefs’ CAF Confederations Cup opponents Kabuscorp SCP.
Gilberto is currently on loan at the Angolan topflight outfit from the Buccaneers with the 24-year-old’s loan in Angola set to expire in December 2025 which is when he will return to Pirates though they might opt to let him continue at Petro until the end of the season.
The Angolan international won his first trophy of the season after they beat Kabuscorp SCP 3-1 this past weekend.
This is Gilberto’s second trophy since returning to Petro as he also won the Girabola in May.
