Orlando Pirates and Mamelodi Sundowns are looking to claim back-to-back wins to close the year on a high note when they host Orbit College and Magesi FC in this weekend’s DStv Diski Challenge ties.
This is the last weekend of the DStv Diski Challenge for 2025 as leaders Pirates battle Dikwena Tsa Meetsi. The Buccaneers returned to winning ways last weekend beating Richards Bay 2-0 while Vuyisile Wana’s troops are at their best after going five matches unbeaten including a draw against Mamelodi Sundowns and a win against Stellenbosch FC.
Mswenko Boys will have a lot to deal with as they play against the highest scoring Sundowns team who have Bennet Mokoena in their ranks on seven goals, Oarabile Booysen who is on five goals and Siyabonga Mabena who has been influential when it comes to providing assists. Downs aim to finish the year with three wins in a row. Orbit College look to get their fourth win this season.
Struggling Stellenbosch FC will travel to Isak Steyl as they lock horns against Sekhukhune United. Stellies lost back-to-back matches for the first time since 2023 and aim to avoid that against Babina Noko.
The KwaZulu-Natal derby will close the day on Saturday between sixth-placed Richards Bay FC and ninth-placed AmaZulu FC. The Natal Rich Boyz come to this game at the back of two consecutive defeats while, Usuthu are winless in their last three matches.
