Orlando Pirates have announced their starting line-up for this afternoon’s keenly anticipated Nedbank Cup Last 32 tie against Tshakhuma Tsha Madzivhandila at the Moses Mabhida Stadium.
The Buccaneers come into this chash having suffered a 2-1 loss against bitter rivals Kaizer Chiefs in last year’s final at this afternoon’s venue and will be hoping to forget about last season’s heartbreak and march on.
TTM do not necesarily come into this tie as underdogs having clinched the Ke Yona Cup back in the 2020/21 season beating Chippa United 1-0 in the final at the Free State Stadium under the tutelage of well-known English coach Dylan Kerr.
In head-to-head meetings between the two sides since the 2020/21 league campaign, Pirates raced to an emphatic 3-0 win away from home through goals from Fortune Makaringe, Gabadinho Mhango and Deon Hotto but the return fixture ended in a dull draw.
