The Premier Soccer League have announced the nominees of the 2024/25 awards.
The awards had been postponed due to Mamelodi Sundowns’ participation in the FIFA Club World Cup, but will likely be announced before the new season, which is set to kick off on 1 August with the MTN8.

However, the PSL have now started to release the nominees for this year’s awards, starting from 10:00 on Tuesday with the referees and assistant referees of the season.
As the announcements progressed, the nominees for the MTN8 Last Man Standing were announced, with Fawaaz Basadien battling with Orlando Pirates duo Deon Hotto and Relebohile Mofokeng.
In the Nedbank Cup, Pirates did a clean sweep for the Most Promising Player, with Mofokeng, Mbekezeli Mbokazi and Mohau Nkota nominated, while Chiefs did a clean sweep for the main award, which will either go to Inacio Miguel, Pule Mmodi or Gaston Sirino.
In the Carling Knockout, Magesi FC duo Elvis Chipezeze and Edmore Chirambadare were nominated alongside Iqraam Rayners.
