Ronaldo Breaks Silence On Man Utd Exit

Cristiano Ronaldo has broken his silence on his Manchester United exit via a statement, saying he feels it was the “right time to seek a new challenge” after both parties mutually agreed to terminate his contract.

United had announced that Ronaldo will leave the club with immediate effect, with the club reacting to the player’s bombshell with Piers Morgan.

Ronaldo had claimed he “feels betrayed” and “forced out of the club”, criticising coach Erik Ten Hag, as well as the facilities at Old Trafford.

On Tuesday, United announced Ronaldo’s exit by mutual consent, with Ronaldo also publishing a statement on his exit.

“Following talks with Manchester United, we’ve mutually agreed to end our contract,” he said via a statement.

“I love Manchester United and I love the fans, that will never ever change.

“It feels like the right time to seek a new challenge.”

Overall, Ronaldo scored 145 goals in 346 appearances for United, lifting nine trophies during his first spell at Old Trafford.
