Saturday’s DSTv Premiership match between Royal AM and Mamelodi Sundowns has been postponed due to a water-logged pitch.
The game kicked off at 15:00 on Saturday but was interrupted in the 24th minute due to bad weather conditions at Chatsworth Stadium.
Minutes later, the Premier Soccer League then confirmed that the game has been postponed.
“The DStvPrem Fixture between Royal AM and Mamelodi Sundowns has been abandoned due to inclement weather. The new date and Kick-off time will be announced in due course,” the PSL said in a statement.
The decision also means that there will be no trophy handover to the 2021/22 DStv Premiership champions.
