Noko Matlou has extended her contract with Eibar and will spend at least another season in Spain.

The Banyana Banyana international who is currently in Morocco preparing for the AWCON has renewed her contract with Spanish side SD Eibar Feminino after signing with them last season.
Matlou, 36, is the only player (male or female) besides Janine Van Wyk with more than 150 national caps, and was also the first South African to be named African Women Footballer of the Year back in 2008.

Noko’s team will now ply their trade in the Segunda Division Pro of the La Liga after they were relegated from their Spanish Premier Division.
The club confirmed on their social media accounts that Matlou will be back in the 2022/2023 season.
