Kaizer Chiefs striker Flavio Silva says he has been adapting well at the club as well as playing continental football.
Silva joined Amakhosi at the start of the current campaign and hit the ground running by scoring four goals in five league matches and featuring in three of the side’s CAF Confederation Cup matches.
The 29-year-old was a second half substitute in Chiefs’ 1-1 draw with Zamalek in Group D at the Peter Mokaba Stadium over the weekend.
He said adapting has been good though games are different and he was particularly pleased with the mentality his teammates displayed in Polokwane.
“It’s always different games because we don’t have time for recovery, to play our style,” said Silva.
“It was a tough game. We knew it was going to be a tough game, we conceded early. I saw a different mentality today [Saturday].
“I think it was a winning mentality that helped us to come back in the game.”
