Siwelele FC have announced that they have parted ways with CEO Stan Matthews and assistant coach Andre Arendse.
Chairman Calvin Le John made the announcement on Sunday in what he described as the pair’s lives “being threatened on a daily basis.”
Le John further confirmed that various players who have not shown heart for the team, will see their contracts terminated.
Lerato Kholoanyane has been announced as the club’s new acting CEO while Le John also confirmed that former Orlando Pirates and Bloemfontein Celtic defender Willem Jackson will fill in the assistant role vacated by Arendse.
In the next five to six days, Siwelele will also announce new signings as they look to move away from a precarious 14th spot on the Betway Premiership standings.
Masele have won just one of their seven league matches with a single draw and five defeats.
