Liverpool manager Arne Slot has revealed why he sang the Jurgen Klopp chant during the title celebrations at Anfield on Sunday.
The Reds dismantled Tottenham Hotspur 5-1 to all but clinch the Premier League title with four games to spare at the weekend.

The German spent close to nine years in the Anfield hotseat before calling it quits at the end of last season. He won the club’s 19th domestic title during his tenure, as well as the UEFA Champions League and both domestic cups.
Slot had revealed that he had received a message from Klopp after full-time, which somewhat sparked him to chant the German tactician’s name during the celebrations – “Jurgen Klopp, la la la”.
He later explained that he was trying to return the favour after Klopp had famously started a Slot chant during his official farewell from Anfield last year.
“[I chanted Klopp’s name] because of what he did before I even arrived here,” he said, as per Goal.
“I think that is something not one manager ever did before. So that is what definitely helped me. But apart from that, he helped me even more by the team he left behind and the culture he left behind in that team.
“The quality the players have was obvious for everyone, but the culture of hard work, not only from the players but also from the staff members, has been incredible, and that is one of the reasons why we could achieve what we have achieved this season. For obvious reasons, I think it was a nice moment to thank him as well.”
Meanwhile, the former Reds boss took to his Instagram page on social media to offer his congratulations to Slot and the Reds.
“Super grateful for the past, super, super happy about the present, extremely positive about the future! Congratulations – YNWA. Thank You Luv,” Klopp wrote.
