Miguel Timm has remained coy on his expected move to Orlando Pirates, which has already been agreed to according to iDiski Times sources.

The midfielder’s contract with Marumo Gallants is coming to an end by 30 June and he was closely linked with a move to Sekhukhune United.

However, Pirates are believed to have stumped up a better contract offer in the last minute, when Timm was expected to sign his contract with Sekhukhune. The player himself, though, didn’t want to give anything away when asked about his future.

“Not at the moment, I’m actually not even home,” Timm told Skepe Matsebane on POWER Sport Extra.

“It’s been tough since the [Nedbank Cup final] loss. I’m taking some time off with my daughter and my wife. When I return back home obviously having a clearer mind, I think I’ll figure things out from there.”

When asked about his proposed move to the Buccaneers, Timm didn’t want to give anything away but also didn’t deny the rumours.

“Ah no, I’m not the journalist who writes these things to be honest, so I can’t say anything on that,” he responded.

“I’ve never said anything but I’ve heard about that. So for now I don’t have anything to say about that, as I’m away with my family.”

Timm made 60 appearances for Gallants and can look back at an impressive 2021/22 campaign.

The SuperSport youth product has played for seven different clubs at senior level, namely Bidvest Wits, Black Aces, Phoenix Rising, Chippa United, Maritzburg United, TTM and Gallants.
