Tinkler Wishes Spurs Best Of Luck

Cape Town City head coach Eric Tinkler has wished colleague Shaun Bartlett the best of luck in the final Motsepe Foundation Championship match.

Cape Town Spurs have a chance to return to the top flight on Sunday, when they face the University Of Pretoria in the last round of the Motsepe Foundation Championship.

The Urban Warriors need a win to secure their return to the elite league of South African football, entering round 30 with 56 points – one ahead of Casric Stars and two ahead of Polokwane City.

Tinkler wished them the best of luck ahead of this crucial fixture and mentioned that it would be good to have another team from Cape Town in the DStv Premiership.

“I wish them good luck, obviously important match for them,” Tinkler said.

“They can win that game they get promoted back to the PSL and it would be great to have other team from Cape Town in the PSL, it also makes pre-season more easy when we have them.

“We obviously wish them all the best.”
