Tshakhuma Tsha Madzivhandila and Marumo Gallants meet tonight in the first of this weekend’s Nedbank Cup semi-finals and here is how the teams will line up.
The winner of tonight’s encounter at the Thohoyandou Stadium will meet either Royal AM or Mamelodi Sundowns in the final, with the second semi-final scheduled for Chatsworth Stadium tomorrow evening.
Gallants are the defending champions of the cup, winning last season under Dylan Kerr when the club was ironically known as TTM. They renamed the team at the start of the 2021/2022 season, while this iteration of Tshakhuma re-emerged this season in the GladAfrica Championship after former owner Lawrence Mulaudzi bought Royal AM’s second-tier status.
