Chelsea walked away with a whopping $114.6 million in prize money and participation fee after winning the extended FIFA Club World Cup.
The Blues beat Paris Saint-Germain 3-0 in the final after a superb first half showing with goals from Cole Palmer, who netted a brace, and Joao Pedro.

Chelsea became the first side to win the extended Club World Cup, which had a record prize pool of $1 billion, split in $475 million for participation fees and $525 million in performance-based prize money.
The Premier League side received $114.6 million (R2.05 billion), as per Swiss Ramble, followed by runners-up PSG with $106.9 million (R1.9 billion), while Real Madrid got $82.5 million (R1.47 billion) and Fluminense received $60.8 million (R1.09 billion).
Mamelodi Sundowns were the biggest earners among the four African representatives, banking $12.6 million (R225 million) for their one win and one draw at the tournament.
