How Much Downs Earned At CWC Revealed

Despite Mamelodi Sundowns being knocked out of the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup, Masandawana earned R228 million at the tournament.

Masandawana were held to a goalless draw in their final Group F fixture against Fluminense, when they needed a win to make the Last 16.

As a consequence Sundowns finished in third place in Group F with four points, with Borussia Dortmund topping the group with seven, while Fluminense came second with five.

Even though, Sundowns collected more points than any other African team at the tournament, Miguel Cardoso’s side were knocked out.

However, they don’t leave the USA empty-handed, as they pocketed R174 million in participation fee, plys R36 million for their win over Ulsan and another R18 million for Wednesday’s draw.
