The winners of the individual awards for the 2026 FIFA World Cup were announced after the final.

After the final of the 104 World Cup games, Spain lifted the trophy, beating defending champions Argentina 1-0 in extra-time.

La Roja lifted their second World Cup title after 2010 in South Africa, winning seven of their eight matches, with only Cape Verde holding them to a goalless draw.

Spain centre-back Pau Cubarsi was named Young Player of the Tournament after his fine performances for a defence which only conceded one goal all tournament.

Unai Simón of Spain won the Golden Glove after keeping a record seven clean sheets throughout the tournament, with only Charles De Ketelaere scoring against him.

Last but not least, Rodri won the Golden Ball to secure a Spain hat-trick at the individual awards on Monday morning.

Meanwhile, Kylian Mbappe secured the Golden Boot after ending the tournament with 10 goals following his brace in the third-place playoff against England.

He has now scored 22 goals overall, and became the tournament’s all-time record goalscorer.
