Ronaldo ‘Agrees’ R3.5bn Deal – Report

Cristiano Ronaldo has agreed to join Saudi Arabian side Al Nassr in a move that would see him earn an incredible €200 million per season, according to Marca.

The 37-year-old is currently a free agent after mutually agreeing to terminate his Manchester United contract following his bombshell interview with Piers Morgan.

Ronaldo is now free to choose a club of his liking and was understood to be keen to find a club that plays in the UEFA Champions League.

However, with offers from Europe seemingly rare, Ronaldo has agreed to a sensational switch to Saudi Arabia, Marca reports.

He will join Al Nassr on a 2.5-year deal, that will see him earn €200 million (R3.5 billion) per season.

No club in Europe is prepared to match the financial offer, neither are teams from the Major League Soccer, which has reportedly resulted in Ronaldo changing his mind and looking to move to the Arab nation.

Al Nassr are currently second in the Saudi Pro League, which is one league above Pitso Mosimane’s Al Ahli Saudi.
