Ahmed Yahya the agent of Egypt international Kahraba says Pitso Mosimane does not want him, contrary to the South African’s recent statements.
Mosimane stated after his six-month loan agreement with Turkish SuperLig side Hatayspor was confirmed, that he had no issues with the player after the public fallout, despite his noticeably limited game time.
“If I didn’t like Kahraba, I wouldn’t have played him against Bayern Munich in the Club World Cup,” he told MBC Egypt Television Channel before stating that his exit was sanctioned while he was on holiday.
But Yahya suggests that’s not the case but stopped short of stating that it will hinder his career prospects moving forward.
“The most important thing is Kahraba is there. What will he offer, and if he shines in Turkey, it is natural for the situation in Al-Ahly to change,” he told OnTime Sports 2 when asked if he could return to the Red Devils.
“But it is clear that Al Ahly coach Pitso Mosimane does not want him. What I see and what I understand is that Kahraba is very good in training and the reason for his lack of game time is unknown to me.
“Kahraba did everything to find out why he did not participate, and Mosimane always replied that he would have had a chance.”
The former Zamalek was not used in a single league game this season after the arrivals of Percy Tau and Luis Miquissone pushed him further down the pecking order in Cairo.
