Agay – We’ll Get Another Win

Anthony Agay says that the Kaizer Chiefs camp is feeling positive ahead of Saturday’s CAF Champions League semi-final second leg against Wydad Casablanca at the FNB Stadium.

Chiefs lead the tie 1-0 after a courageous win in Morocco last weekend, and will look to make history on the weekend as they aim to qualify for their first ever CAFCL final.

Agay explained that he was always confident they’d get a good result in Morocco, be it a win or a draw.

“Ja, going to Morocco, we knew we were going to come back with a good result, a positive one, we didn’t care if it was a draw or a win,” Agay told the club’s media department.

“But we could see it, starting from the training that we were doing back here at Naturena. Because we had all the plans, you know, and the approach of the game was also positive. That’s why we got the most important goal and the positive win that we got from there.”

Agay also says they are confident of getting another result on Saturday.

“Since we came back from Morocco, we came back immediately, there was not too much rest,” he added.

“Because we know what lies ahead of us. It’s a big, big game on Saturday. And the preparation is going well.

“We can see positivity from each and everyone, the attitude is there, the characteristic, everything, the ingredients are there.

“It’s all about now Saturday, all the minds are the same, we are thinking the same, the spirit is there, and I believe we are going to get another win.”
