
South Sudan have appointed South African Shilene Booysen as the new Head Coach of their National’s Women’s Team.
Booysen, who has CAF A Licence, had been serving as a Performance Analyst and Assistant Coach to Desiree Ellis in the Banyana Banyana set up. She’s been involved with the national team since 2014.

The experienced Booysen also spent a season as an Analyst for Houston Dash, working under former Banyana coach Vera Pauw, and has been involved with the Atlantis Female Sports Academy for many years.
The former Santos and Spurs Women player, began doing her coaching badges when she was still a player. She actually started playing as a defender, before converting to goalkeeper. As player/coach she led Spurs to the 2005/2006 National Title.
