Bvuma Reacts To Wydad Heroics
Kaizer Chiefs goalkeeper Bruce Bvuma was delighted with this team’s 1-0 away against Wydad Casablanca in the CAF Champions League semi-final first leg on Saturday.
Bvuma, who pulled off a number of match winning saves in the historical victory, says it was a huge effort from the team.
But the goalkeeper says they still need to keep working hard to finish off the tie in next week’s second leg.
“Thank Jesus for being my shepherd, for leading me into this game,” Bvuma said after the game.
“And ja, coming to this game, we knew that it’s not going to be easy and we knew how they played.
“I’m just happy that we worked hard as a team. Everyone like gave 100% there on the field.
“So I’m just happy for the result, and the clean sheet also, and it is a good result for us, but we know that it’s not over. It’s halfway you know, so we just need to keep on going and working hard. Thank you so much.”
