Chiefs Announce CAFCL Squad, 4 Stars Out!

Kaizer Chiefs have announced their traveling squad to face Wydad Casablanca in the CAF Champions League, but will be without Ramahlwe Mphahlele and Lebogang Manyama.

The duo joins Khama Billiat and Dumsani Zuma on the injury list, the club confirmed on Wednesday.

Apart from those four players, 21 men have will head to North Africa to face Wydad Casablanca on Morocco.

Arthur Zwane and Dillon Sheppard will lead the selection in Morocco because the club still need to sort out new head coach Stuart Baxter’s work permit.

The two co-coaches opted to call three goalkeepers, namely Bruce Bvuma, Itumeleng Khune and Daniel Akpeyi into the squad.

Amakhosi will depart South Africa on Wednesday evening, with the game scheduled to kick off on Saturday at 21:00, SA time.

Defenders: Njabulo Blom, Philani Zulu, Daniel Cardoso, Reeve Frosler, Kgotso Moleko, Siyabonga Ngezana, Yagan Sasman, Darrel Matsheke, Erick Mathoho, Anthony Agay

Midfielders: Kearyn Baccus, Willard Katsande, Nkosingiphile Ngcobo, Happy Mashiane

Forwards: Lazalous Kambole, Bernard Parker, Leonardo Castro, Samir Nurković

The Glamour Boys met Wydad in the group stages already, losing 4-0 away from home before beating them 1-0 at the FNB Stadium.
