Downs Star In CAFCL Team Of The Week

Mosa Lebusa was the only player from a South African side in this time’s CAF Team of the Week.

The 28-year-old scored Masandawana’s 1-1 equaliser against Al Ahly on Saturday but it wasn’t enough to prevent his side’s 3-1 aggregate defeat.

Meanwhile, Pitso Mosimane’s team also had one representative in the selection, namely Yasser Ibrahim, who scored the opener in the second leg.

Simba S.C. have for players in the team following their 3-0 second-leg victory over Kaizer Chiefs. Striker John Bocco was joined by former Downs winger Luis Miquissone, defender Mohamed Hussein and Clatous Chama.

The latter recently told iDiski Times in edition 20 that he is still dreaming of a transfer to Amakhosi.

In addition, two Wydad Casablanca stars and three players from Esperance also made the official CAF Team of the Week.
