Eriksen Collapses On Pitch, Game Will Resume
UEFA have confirmed that Christian Eriksen has been stabilised and transferred to a hospital after he collapsed on the pitch on Saturday night.
Horrific scenes developed in Copenhagen during the match between Denmark and Finland after Eriksen collapsed unchallenged in 42nd minute of the game and medics rushed onto the field to reanimate him, while his teammates formed a protective shield around him.
At 19:25, UEFA confirmed that Eriksen has been stabilised and is on his way to the hospital.
At 19:31, the Danish FA confirmed that “Eriksen is awake and is having further examinations.”
At 20:08, UEFA confirmed that both team’s players requested the game to continue and it will be restarted at 20:30.
