Nigerian forward Victor Osimhen knows the importance of qualifying for the World Cup in Qatar.
The SSC Napoli talisman made his Nigerian senior debut in 2017 and he now have 18 caps under his belt. Osimhen is looking forward to play his first ever World Cup after he missed out at the 2018 World Cup that was hosted by Russia.
“I think it’s mean a lot to me, not just me, I think the whole team, and we are really looking forward to this game coming up on Tuesday. Of course, l will just say it wont be easy, no game is really easy in Africa, because it’s really very physical. Of course, to be able to get the work of tickets will mean a lot to this thing,” Osimhen told NFFTV.
“I think we going with our 12th man on the pitch that’s our fans and of course, we the way they will support us and everything like that. I think we have a chances of getting this World Cup ticket, but it wont be easy, we have to give respect to the Ghanaian team also they have some greater quality players also.
“But I think we are ready we have good quality players individual talent, they can actually win game for us. And we have a very good squad depth on the bench. Also we have quality players that can come in and get the job done for us. And we are we looking forward to for to this game as a group.”

Nigeria will face Ghana on return leg of World Cup Qualifiers after the first leg ended goalless in Kumasi, Ghana just a few days ago. A win for Super Eagles will see them progressing to the World Cup.
