Former Pirates Striker Wins First Career Title

Former Orlando Pirates striker Kwame Peprah has won the Cambodian Super Cup with Svay Rieng FC.

Just a month after joining Rieng on a free transfer from the Indian side Kerala Blasters, Peprah has officially won the first title of his football career.

Peprah, 24, was instrumental in his side’s win as he scored both goals in the Super Cup match Phnom Penh, with the match ending 2-2 before Peprah’s side clinched the title on penalties. After the game, Peprah was named the official Man of the Match.

This is Rieng’s third successive Super Cup title, and they have also won back-to-back league titles in Cambodia.

Peprah’s contract with Rieng will end in June 2026. He is expected to play a major role in the upcoming season.

The 24-year-old Ghana striker spent two seasons in South Africa where he played for Orlando Pirates and was loaned out to Maritzburg United before leaving for Israel to join Hapoel Hadera.
