Rowan Human, who is currently plying his trade in Israel, says he is motivated by the successes of fellow Westbury-born stars Steven Pienaar and Keagan Dolly.
Human was speaking to Velile Mnyandu exclusively in Edition 10 of iDiski Times.
Human is on the books of Maccabi Tel-Aviv, but is currently on loan at their feeder club, Beitar Tel-Aviv, and has been a stand out player for the second tier team, as they push for promotion.
Human says that Pienaar and Dolly have set the standard, and he wants to learn from them, but at the same time he feels he needs to better their successes.
“That’s the same thing I was looking at,” Human told iDiski Times.
“I can’t just be a normal player. They were top, Steven Pienaar, a top player, he played at Everton. He’s played where I want to play.”
“Keagan Dolly as well, what he’s done,he won the CAF and did great at the Olympics so for me, it’s, it’s just to get one better.”
“At this point it is just to to be better than the both of them. Even though they’re great players, but for me, all I can do is learn from them, look up to them, but at the same time try and be better than them.”
