Jurgen Klopp is on the verge of setting another record with EPL champions Liverpool, if they avoid defeat against Leicester at Anfield on Sunday.
Liverpool are currently sitting on 63 consecutive games undefeated at Anfield, which equals the record set by Bob Paisley three decades ago.
Paisley’s run of 63 home games undefeated happened between February 1978 and December 1980, and co-incidentally that run was stopped by Leicester.
It will be an interesting encounter on Sunday, as Leicester are of course currently top of the table, and coached by the man Klopp replaced at Liverpool, Brendan Rodgers.
Klopp’s team are currently third, and just a point behind Leicester, and victory for the Reds could not only see that new club record, but also a chance to return to the top of the table.
