Lionel Messi has said that it was a difficult time at the start of the season for him personally at Barcelona.
However Messi says he is fine now, and is glad that troubling time is behind him and he is ready to help Barca fight for everything this season.
Messi is set to break a huge record, one is he currently tied on with Pele.
This past weekend he scored his 643rd goal for Barcelona, and is now just one away from the all-time record for the most goals scored for one club.
“The truth is that today I’m fine, ” Messi was quoted telling RAC1.
“It’s true that I had a very bad time in the summer. It started from before that. What happened before the summer, because of how the season ended, the burofax and all that, then it dragged on a bit at the beginning of the season.”
“But today I’m fine and I feel like fighting seriously for everything that lies ahead, I am excited.”
“I know that the club is going through a difficult time, at a club level and with the team, and everything that surrounds Barcelona becomes difficult but I’m looking forward to it.”
