Pirates Star Called Up For Chile & Finland Ties

Orlando Pirates star Andre De Jong has been called up by New Zealand ahead of their matches against Chile and Finland.

The All Whites will take on Finland and Chile as part of the first FIFA Series held in Aotearoa, New Zealand—a competition designed to help them prepare for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

De Jong, who recently joined the Buccaneers, is part of the squad, boosting his hopes of featuring at the global showpiece set to be staged in the USA, Mexico, and Canada.

New Zealand will first take on Finland on 27 February before facing Chile three days later.
