Pitso Mosimane has named Jomo Cosmos as his favourite team in South Africa.
The South African coach in charge of Egyptian giants Al Ahly is once again in action on Wednesday evening in the Egyptian Premier League.
Al Ahly will face Ismaily and will need a win to climb back to the top of the log after rivals Zamalek collected another three points on Tuesday.
However, Mosimane recently gave some insights into which team in South Africa he supports, explaining his heart will always beat for Ezenkosi because they were the first to give him a chance as a player.
“I tell you, my favourite team is Jomo Cosmos,” he told Cassper Nyovest in an Instagram Live chat.
“Because they gave me a chance, they gave me a break. They fetched me from school.
“I come from where I come from. That’s why they’re my favourite team.
“Yes, I love Mamelodi Sundowns because they also gave me a chance to do Africa. Mamelodi Sundowns gave me a chance to do Africa, but Mamelodi Sundowns didn’t give me a chance to be in the PSL.
“SuperSport gave me a chance to in the PSL, because I spent seven years there. So we move on and I have to move on.”
