Ronaldo Nets First In Saudi Arabia

Cristiano Ronaldo has scored his first goal for his new club Al Nassr on Friday.

The 37-year-old had drawn blanks in his first two games for Al Nassr, a 1-0 league win over Ettifaq and a 3-1 defeat against Al-Ettihad in the Super Cup semi-final.

On Friday, Ronaldo secured his new side an important point in the title race, scoring the late 2-2 equaliser against Al-Fateh.

Ronaldo converted a spot-kick to break his deadlock after hitting the woodwork earlier in the game.

His goal saw Al Nassr stay ahead of Al-Shabab on the Saudi Pro League log, based on the better goal difference and with one game in hand.

Overall, it was Ronaldo’s 820th career goals, with 450 coming for Real Madrid, 145 for Manchester United, 118 for Portugal, 101 for Juventus, five for Sporting and now his first for Al Nassr.
