SA Defender In Portugal Makes A Move
Another young South African footballer from the KZN Academy has made a move in Portugal.
Last season Simo Mbhele and Nkanyiso Shinga were plying their trade for Pinhalnovense in the Campeonato Nacional Portugal league, and while Mbhele returned to South Africa to join Golden Arrows, Shinga has made a shift in Portugal.
The 21 year old left back joined up with Juventude Evora at the end of July, who also play in the same division.
Shinga made 19 appearances for Pinhalnovense, and is one of a number of South Africans currently campaigning in the lower Portuguese leagues.
He originally went over to Portugal in 2018, where he joined Vitoria Football Club.
