Tau & Brighton’s EPL Fixtures Released

The Premier League fixtures for the 2021/22 season were released this week, with Percy Tau and Brighton & Hove Albion avoiding any of the traditional big-six teams in their first six games.

Tau has only made three Premier League appearances for the Seagulls since returning from his loan at RSC Anderlecht in January.

Brighton avoided relegation in 2020/21, finishing the campaign in 15th position, 13 points above the relegation spot.

They start the new season with a game away at Burnley, who finished one place below them on log.

On match day two, Brighton host newly promoted side Watford before welcoming Everton at the Amex Stadium a week later. Brentford, another promoted side, welcome Brighton on match day four, while they welcome Leicester City the following week.

Brighton avoid any of the traditional top six until game week seven, when they will host Arsenal. On match day nine, they host champions Manchester City before traveling to 2019/20 winners Liverpool the following week

It remains to be seen whether Tau will still be with Brighton once the new season will Kick off after he has been linked with a move to Antwerp.
