Tau Shines On EPL Return
Percy Tau played an instrumental role in Brighton & Hove Albion’s 1-1 draw with West Ham United on Saturday.
The 27-year-old came off the bench in the 73rd minute, replacing Alireza Jahanbakhsh.
It was Tau’s first Premier League appearance since January and only his third since joining the Seagulls, but the Young Lion impressed his South African fans.
Despite playing less than 20 minutes, Tau set up Brighton’s opener with a superb through ball for Danny Welbeck, who lobbed ball over the keeper in the 84th minute.
However, West Ham found a late equaliser thanks to a superb strike by Said Benrahma from outside the box.
Brighton have secured Premier League survival and have two more games against Manchester City and Arsenal this campaign.
