Uganda Name Final Squad For Bafana Clash

Abdallah Mubiru has named his final Ugandan squad of 23 that will travel to South Africa for the friendly against Bafana Bafana on the 10 June at the Orlando Stadium.

Twenty-one players will fly to South Africa this evening (Monday) where they will be joined by the South African-based duo of Rashid Watenga (Chippa United) and Moses Waiswa (SuperSport United).

This will be Uganda’s first international following the retirements of a number of senior players, including Mamelodi Sundowns’ goalkeeper Denis Onyango.

The Uganda squad in full:

Goalkeepers: Rashid Watenga*, Mathias Kigonya, Charles Lukwago

Defenders: Paul Willa, Kizza Mustafa, Kayondo Abdu Aziizi, Walusimbi Enock, Juuko Murushid, Lwaliwa Halid, Mbowa Paul Patrick, Muhamud Hassan

Midfielders: Lwanga Taddeo, Byaruhanga Bobosi, Kagimu Shafik, Okello Allan, Moses Waiswa*, Lumala Abdul, Orit Ibrahim, Mugulusi Isma, Sserwadda Steven

Forwards: Okwi Emmanuel (Captain), Mukwala Steven, Kakooza Derrick
