There are two familiar faces in the Uganda squad that was named to face Bafana Bafana in a friendly next month.
Uganda Cranes head coach Abdallah Mubiru has named an expanded 33-player provisional squad ahead of the game that includes ten foreign-based players, and ten new stars.
Two of the foreign based players play in the DStv Premiership, namely Moses Waiswa of SuperSport United, and Rashid Watenga of Chippa United.
Watenga will be competing for the number one spot in the team following Denis Onyango’s retirement from international football.
The match, which will be the first since Hugo Broos was named Bafana coach, will take place at the Orlando Stadium on the 10th of June.
