Kaizer Chiefs assistant coach Arthur Zwane has opened up on how Stuart Baxter was involved in the preparations for the CAF Champions League semi-final first leg against Wydad Casablanca.
Zwane alongside Dillon Sheppard will be in charge for the first leg in Morocco while the club are trying to sort out Baxter’s work permit.
After the club had announced that Baxter is part of the traveling party to Morocco, Zwane has given further insight as to how Baxter was involved in the build-up.
“The preparations are still the same, not much has changed, simply because we didn’t have much time on our side,” Zwane told media in the pre-match press conference.
“Coach Stuart has given his input like any other technical member of the team.
“We’re looking forward to the game. I think the past counts for nothing because it’s going to be a different ball game altogether.”
Wydad are unbeaten in 13 games and defeated Chiefs 4-0 in their group stage fixture at home.
