Newcomers Royal AM have found out their opponents in the first preliminary round of the CAF Confederations Cup.
Defending champions RS Berkane (Morocco), USMA, JS Saoura (Algeria), Diables Noirs (Congo), DC Motema Pembe (DR Congo, Pyramids (Egypt), Azam FC (Tanzania), CS Sfaxien, Club African (Tunisia), Zesco United (Zambia) and Marumo Gallants are all exempted from the TotalEnergies CAF Confederation Cup first round.
However, newcomers Royal AM entered the draw in the first round and were drawn against MB Highlanders (Eswatini) and would face Zesco United (Zambia) Â in the second round, should they make it.
With Gallants being exempted from round one, they will face the winners of PWD Bamenda (Cameroon) and Elgeco Plus (Madagascar) in the second round.
The first round first legs will take place from 09-11 September and the second legs will be played from 16-18 September. The second round first legs are scheduled for 7-9 October and the second legs from 14-16 October.
