Kaizer Chiefs Legends and Zulu Kingdon Legends played out to a 1-1 draw before the Amakhosi Legends won 3-2 on penalties in the Toyota Cup curtain raiser at Moses Mabhida Stadium on Saturday morning.
The early kick off to entertain supporters before the main event with Chiefs and Asante Kotoko in the second edition of the pre-season cup proved an entertaining affair.

While there was some nostalgia seeing the likes of Siphiwe Tshabalala, Jabu Mahlangu and Doctor Khumalo on the pitch on one side, with Delron Buckley and Thanduyise Khuboni on the other side – it was Bryce Moon who proved the difference in the opening half.
In the game that was split by 30 minutes each half was a moment of quality in as usual, and end to end game full of flair between the icons of South African football.
Despite Amakhosi creating the more chances over the game, it was the final minute of regulation time before captain Cyril Nzama found the equaliser from the penalty spot.
Shabba, Yeye and Josta Dladla scored for Amakhosi to secure the win on penalties.
