Former Kaizer Chiefs winger and iDiskiTV analyst Junior Khanye will host the ‘Junior Khanye Top 8’ this weekend, with prize money of R50,000 up for grabs and one amateur player being giving a chance to train with a PSL team.
Khanye is continuing to turn his life around after scoring a new ambassador deal with World Sports Betting recently, while his reality tv show Fixing the Game will air from 11 July on Mzansi Wethu.
This weekend, Khanye hosts the Junior Khanye Top Knockout, a tournament for which he handpicked the “strongest eight Kasi teams” in Gauteng.
The tournament, which is sponsored by World Sports Betting, will take place in Khanye’s home town Daveyton, where he wants to scout one player and help him to given a chance by a PSL team.
“In the tournament there is a player that I want to find, just one. I’m going to try by all means to open up an opportunity for one player,” Khanye told iDiski Times.
“I’ve already spoken to one of the coaches in the DStv Premiership where I want to bring the player for a proper assessment with the first team for three week.
“I’m also going to bring five scouts to my tournament.”
If you’re in Daveyton or around the area this weekend, make sure not to miss the ‘Junior Khanye Top 8 Knockout‘ – entry is free.
