Aaron Mokoena Joins City Technical Team

Cape Town City have appointed former Bafana Bafana defender Aaron Mokoena as their new Assistant Coach.

Mokoena comes in to assist Jan Olde Riekerink after Vasili Manousakis resigned from the club this week.

Manousakis is expected to re-unite with former City coach Benni McCarthy at AmaZulu.

This will be Mokoena’s first appointment to a technical team, however he was involved in scouting for Swallows FC last season.

The former Bafana captain comes with a wealth of experience from his playing days, having featured for international clubs like Ajax Amsterdam, Germinal Beerschot, KRC Genk, Blackburn Rovers and Portsmouth.
