Agay Confident Chiefs Can Beat Stellies

Ahead of tomorrow’s DStv Premiership match, Kaizer Chiefs midfielder Anthony Agay says he doesn’t know much of Stellenbosch’s approach, but he believes his side will beat them.

Amakhosi will return to the field after a long weekend when they welcome second-placed Stellies in Soweto on Tuesday.

The Kenyan international played the whole game when they beat SuperSport United 2-1 at Lucas Moripe Stadium last Sunday, ending their unbeaten run and the Glamour Boys will now face the next unbeaten team in the league.

“For me, I don’t personally know them that much because I have played them once I think,” he told the club’s media department.

“But that doesn’t matter, what matters is the day of the game. Is a different game day, each team comes with different tactics, the style of a play and a different approach.

“But for us, we have our own approach, we have our own tactics and I believe we are going to be victorious on that day.

“For us is just three points and again we are going to try and do the right things, to follow instructions and be there for each other and win it for us, for our families, for our fans and every Kaizer Chiefs fraternity.”

Chiefs face Stellenbosch in the DStv Premiership on Tuesday at FNB Stadium at 15:30.
