Arendse – Grobler’s Got Quite A Bit More In Those Legs
SuperSport United assistant coach Andre Arendse says he is looking forward to see Bradley Grobler be top scorer again in the DStv Premiership next season.
Grobler’s 16 goals this season saw him earn the Lesley Manyathela Golden Boot award for the season, finishing one goal ahead of Mamelodi Sundowns’s Peter Shalulile.
The former Bafana Bafana goalkeeper says Grobler is in his opinion the most accomplished striker in the country, and he says SuperSport are lucky to have him.
“I don’t think it could happen to a nicer person in the game, to be honest, and a more hardworking and dedicated person,” Arendse said after Grobler clinched the award.
“You know, Bradley, for me, if you look at teams around the country, I would have to say that Bradley is probably the most accomplished finisher in front of goal and we’re lucky to have him and so I think it’s well deserved.
“I think that when I look at Bradley’s overall season, I think he’s got quite a bit more in those legs, quite a bit more goalscoring in those feet.
“I’m looking forward to seeing him retain that accolade next season.”
