Bafana Bafana have announced their starting XI to face Ghana for today’s FIFA World Cup Qualifiers game.
Hugo Broos’ side head into the game with a huge advantage, as they only need a draw to qualify for the potential 2022 FIFA World Cup play-off decider.
South Africa edged Ghana 1-0 at FNB Stadium early in September to break Ghana’s unbeaten record against them since 2010.
Broos and his troops will face a powerful foe when they tackle the Black Stars at Cape Coast Sports Stadium at 21:00, as South Africa have never won in Ghana.
The Belgian tactician still holds a 100% record against the Black Stars after winning both his matches against tonight’s opponents, beating them 2-0 with Cameroon at the semi-final of the 2017 AFCON with Bafana in the reverse fixture.
Here is how they line up:
Bafana XI: Williams, Mobbie, Xulu, De Reuck, Mashego, Phete, Mokoena, Brooks, Hlongwane, Tau, Letsoalo.
